Personal and group Style Sessions
The Style Spectrum is a visual archive of how personal style becomes a language of self-expression. Styling, for me, is the art of telling your story aesthetically — and that story can take many forms. It may unfold through what you wear, the space you live in, a workshop you attend, a photoshoot, or a moment of ceremony. Each project in this portfolio explores a different expression of the same intention: creating alignment between who you are, how you feel, and what you choose to express — whether through clothes, spaces, or experiences.

Workshop
The Fashion Feng Shui Workshop explored personal style through the lens of the five elements, drawing from vastu principles that emphasise balance in the spaces we inhabit and extend into what we wear. Clothing, viewed as a second skin, was approached as an energetic layer we carry with us every day. Designed as an intimate, women-only gathering in Bombay, the workshop combined grounding and elemental meditations — moving through earth, water, fire, air, and space — to help participants understand how each element lives within them. Through guided reflection and the creation of a style vision board, the workshop invited participants to translate elemental balance into their clothing choices, aligning inner energy with outward expression.

Ceremony
A blessing ceremony, for me, is a way of holding space for transition through intentional styling, ritual, and collective presence. Rooted in traditions that honour a woman’s life as a series of thresholds, it shifts the focus from the event itself to the experience of becoming. This ceremony was curated as a full sensory journey — from the design of the invitation and flow of the ritual to the styling of space, food, and adornment — celebrating the mother as she prepared to enter a new phase of life. Through thoughtful use of colour, objects, space, and gathering, the ceremony became an expression of how styling can shape not just how something looks, but how it is felt and remembered.

Photo shoot
Photoshoot styling, for me, is the art of translating identity into a visual language. It is not about elaborate outfits, but about curating clothing, mood, and composition so that the person feels present and recognisable in the image. This photoshoot for my website was styled using simple wardrobe essentials — blue jeans, a white shirt, black trousers, and a black blazer — allowing the focus to remain on expression rather than excess. Through three personas of self — Sanchita, Shakti, and Samara — the same foundation pieces were styled differently to reflect strength, expression, and balance, with a pink telephone acting as a visual anchor across the shoot.
